When you login with your ITRC User ID and Password and put a check in the box next to Remember my User ID and Password, your browser will be able to remember this information. Check the box and you won't have to sign in each time you come back. However, if you logout, you will be prompted to reenter your ITRC User ID and Password the next time you login.
Before you enable Remember my User ID and Password
If you are concerned that someone will access the IT resource center from your browser without your authorization, you should not check the Remember my User ID and Password box. When you have completed a session on the IT resource center, be sure to logout to guard against activity that you have not authorized.
Turning Remember my User ID and Password Off
If you want to turn the Remember my User ID and Password feature off, logout. Then login again without checking the Remember my User ID and Password box.
More Information
Note that your login information is always encrypted by SSL (secure socket layer). When using the Remember my User ID and Password feature a standard session will be created for you. For additional data security, you may wish to use the secure session feature instead.
